Responsible Gambling
Royal Bet Palace is committed to promoting responsible gambling. Gambling should be a form of entertainment, not a way to make money or solve financial problems. Only ever bet what you can afford to lose. If you feel that gambling is affecting your life, your relationships, your work, or your finances, we urge you to seek help and to use the tools and resources described on this page.
All operators we link to are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and are required to offer responsible gambling tools. These typically include deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, reality checks, and self-exclusion options. We encourage you to use these tools from the start. Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Never chase your losses; if you have lost more than you planned, stop and take a break. Taking regular breaks and not gambling when you are stressed, upset, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs can help you stay in control.
BeGambleAware.org provides free information, advice, and support for anyone affected by gambling. Their website is gambleaware.org. You can access self-help resources, find support services, and learn about the signs of problem gambling. BeGambleAware is an independent charity and does not promote gambling.
GamCare offers free confidential advice, support, and counselling for people affected by problem gambling. Services include a helpline, live chat, and face-to-face support. Visit gamcare.org.uk for more information. GamCare also runs the National Gambling Helpline (see below).
GamStop is a free self-exclusion scheme for UK residents. Once you register at gamstop.co.uk, you will be excluded from all gambling sites and apps operated by companies licensed by the UK Gambling Commission for the period you choose (minimum six months, or one year or five years). You cannot reverse the exclusion during that period. This is a significant step and can help if you need a break from all online gambling. If you are unsure, speak to GamCare or BeGambleAware first.
The National Gambling Helpline (UK) is free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number is 0808 8020 133. You can call to talk to someone in confidence about your own gambling or about someone else's. The helpline is run by GamCare and can point you to further support.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem include: spending more money or time on gambling than you intended; borrowing money or selling possessions to gamble; lying to family or friends about gambling; feeling anxious or irritable when you cannot gamble; trying to win back losses; and neglecting work, relationships, or other interests. If any of these sound familiar, do not wait to seek help. The sooner you act, the easier it is to get back on track.
If you are under 18, you must not gamble. It is illegal in the UK for anyone under 18 to gamble. We do not target minors and our age verification is in place to prevent underage access. If you are a parent or guardian and are concerned about a young person's gambling, contact BeGambleAware or GamCare for advice.
We do not provide gambling services ourselves. We only provide information and links to third-party operators. We encourage you to use only UK-licensed sites, which are required to offer responsible gambling tools and to treat customers fairly. If you have feedback about our site or the way we present responsible gambling information, please contact us at info@royalbetpalace.com. Last updated: 2025.
